Suspected armed herdsmen have reportedly killed three people in Imatom village of Ukemberagya council ward in the Logo local Government Area of Benue State.
In his statement, a community leader in the state, identified as Joseph Anawa, confirmed the event to newsmen on Sunday, October 14, 2023, he also identified the three victims as Tertsea Terkimbi Adagundu, Tertsea Mkposu, and Mimidoo Umburga.
Anawa also disclosed to newsmen that the armed herdsmen had renewed their onslaught in the council area, chronicling the spate of Fulani herdsmen militia attacks since the beginning of September.
He further appealed to both state and federal governments to deploy more security personnel to the area.
