Israel strikes back after Hamas terrorist attack

The Israeli government has reportedly retaliated against Hamas in response to its surprise attack and according to reports, the death toll has surpassed 1,100 along with thousands injured on both sides.

It was gathered that the attack is in retaliation for one of the bloodiest attack in its history when Islamist group Hamas killed 700 Israelis and abducted dozens more.

Also Hamas fighters’ rampage through the towns of Israeli on Saturday, Oct. 7, was named the deadliest attack since Egypt and Syria’s attacks in the Yom Kippur war about 50 years ago.

In response, Israeli air strikes hit housing blocks, tunnels, a mosque and homes of Hamas officials in Gaza, killing more than 400 people, including 20 children, in keeping with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s vow of “mighty vengeance”.
